Teachers-Employees' Federation to accept PM’s direction

Staff Correspondent: Non-MPO Educational Institutions Teachers and the Employees' Federation wants to depict their inhuman living standard meeting the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Principal Golam Mahmudunnabi Dollar, president of the teachers' organization made the disclosure in the capital on Friday.

He said, “We are staging demonstration demanding MPO since many days. Following the demand, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina assured that the demand will be met. However, still there is no initiative to implement the demand.”

“Meeting the Prime Minister, we want to tell our inhuman living standard. Later, we will follow her direction,” he said.

Federation general secretary Principal Dr Binoy Bhushan Roy said, “On January 5, 2018, the private secretary to the PM assured the Non-MPO Shikka Protisthan Shikkak-Karmachari Federation leaders that the PM had accepted their demands and asked them to return home breaking their indefinite hunger strike. But, there is no result yet. That’s why we again joined together.”
