Teknaf Ansar camp loot: all looted arms recovered

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: RAB personnel recovered all arms and ammunition looted from the Teknaf Ansar camp last year.

Members of RAB-7 recovered the arms from hilly area of Tumbru in Naikkhongchhari on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers also detained a man named Nurul Alam from the area and ended arms recovering mission around 7:30pm.

Declaring end of arms recovering drive, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal thanked RAB officials.

Robbers attacked the Ansar camp, looted firearms and killed an Ansar commander at Nayapara refugee camp of Teknaf on May 13, 2016.

Ansar Commander Ali Hossain, 55, was shot dead and 11 firearms and 670 bullets were looted during the attack inside the Rohingya refugee camp at Nayapara in Teknaf.
