Third successful surgery on Muktamoni conducted

Staff Correspondent: The third surgery on the right hand of Muktamoni, the 12-year-old girl from Satkhira, has been conducted on Tuesday.

Doctors of Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) started the surgery around 9:30am. The surgery ended around 12:30pm.

Samanta Lal Sen, National Coordinator of DMCH's Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit said that doctors removed tumour from her hand successfully.

If everything remains normal, then Muktamoni may have to go through more surgery to remove tumour in her shoulder, he said.
