Three Bangladesh peacekeepers killed in Mali

Desk Report: Three Army personnel were killed and four others were injured in a blast of Improvised Explosion Devices (IED) buried under the soil while serving the UN peacekeeping mission in Mali, according to a press release sent by Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR).

The statement said the incident occurred when IEDs exploded while confronting terrorists.

Those killed in the offensive are Sergeant Altaf, Lance Corporal Zakirul and Soldier Monowar.

The ISPR said those injured -- Major Zadid, Corporal Mahim, Soldiers Sabuj and Sarwar-- are being treated at a hospital in Gao city.
