Three Jubo League men shot in city

Staff Correspondent: Three Jubo League men received bullet injuries inflicted by some unidentified miscreants at Wari in the city.

The injured are- Jewel, 32, General Secretary of ward no 41, Rabin, 30, president of Unit 3 of ward 41, and Kajol, 37, a local Jubo League activist.

Sources said that the incident took place in Musnadi area around 9:00pm on Saturday. Later, the injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Selim Mia, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Wari Police station said a group of three people wearing masks opened fire at them around 8:45pm while they were gossiping at a meat shop in the area, leaving them injured. At one stage, the criminals fled the scene firing blank shots.
