Three cases filed over Gabtoli clash

Staff Correspondent: Three cases were filed over the clashes at Gabtoli during countrywide transport strike Wednesday night.

The cases were filed with Darussalam police station mentioning 40 names and 1000 unidentified people for vandalising vehicles during the clash on Wednesday night.

Darussalam Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Selimuzzaman confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

He said that two cases were lodged by the police while another by a victim who faced losses due to the rampage.

Earlier, on Wednesday, transport workers damaged several vehicles, including of police and media during the clash. One of the workers injured in the clash later died at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
