Three killed in city road crashes

Staff Correspondent: Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Banani and Rupnagar of Mirpur area in the capital.

Sub-inspector Azizul Haque of Rupnagar police station said two riders named Razzak, 46 and his friend Jahidur Rahman Dudu, 42 were heading towards Mirpur from Savar on Sunday night. Meanwhile, a vehicle rammed their motorbike in Goran Chatbari area, leaving them critically injured.

Later, the injured were rushed to Shaheed Suhrawardi Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead.

SI Shahin Alam of Banani police station said an unidentified youth was killed in a road accident in front of Army Stadium road on Monday morning.

The body was kept at Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
