Three killed in Ctg road crash

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: At least three people were killed in separate road accidents in Mirsharai and Sitakunda upazila of the district on Friday noon.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police and local sources said that an auto rickshaw collided with a goods laden truck in Baroiyar Hat area of Mirsharai upazila around 12:30pm, leaving two passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot.

On the other hand, a truck and an auto rickshaw collided in Sonaichhari area of Sitakunda upazila, leaving bus helper Abdul Rashid, 45 dead on the spot and injured 10 passengers.

Chittagong Fire Service Divisional Deputy Assistant Director Jashim Uddin confirmed the matter.
