Three killed in lightning strike in Savar

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Three people were killed in separate incidents of lightning strikes at Savar, the outskirts of the capital Dhaka, on Thursday afternoon.

Two people including a woman were also in injured in the incidents.

Abu Naser Beg, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), said three boys were taking bath in the rain on Thursday afternoon. Two of them were killed in lightning strike and another was injured. The injured was admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital.

Meanwhile one Asadul was also killed in lighting strike at Namagenda area of Savar. A woman named Maksuda Akter was injured in lighting at Kathgorha area who was also admitted to Enam Medical in Savar.
