Three to die for killing minor in Mymensingh

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: A court in Mymensingh has awarded three people to death sentence for murdering a kid named Sujan alias Chetan Pandit, 12 in Tarakanda upazila in 2011.

Mymensingh additional district and session judge court-1 justice Niazi Shahidul Alam Chowdhury passed the order on Tuesday noon.

The court also fined them Tk 50,000 each, in default they will have to suffer six months more in jail.

The convicts are- Akbar Ali, Akram Hossain and Tanvir Hasan. Of them, Akram Hossain on the run.

According to the case statement, On August 30, 2011, the convicts killed the victim and dumped the body into a pond.
