Sports Desk: Openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar gave Bangladesh the perfect start, but the duo left the pitch scoring 49 and 61 runs respectively.

Tamim was out leg-before for 49 off Rangana Herath after Sri Lanka successfully reviewed an initial not out decision by umpire Aleem Dar on the second day of the Colombo Test on Thursday.

Earlier, the hosts scored 338 runs in 113.3 overs, losing all wickets. Tigers look sharp to have a chance to get a better position.

Sri Lanka's Dinesh Chandimal scored a wonderful century (138) helping the hosts to amass the fighting score.

Besides, Suranga Lakmal, Dhananjaya de Silva and Niroshan Dickwella scored, 35, 34 and 34 runs respectively.

Of the Bangladesh bowlers, Mehedi Hasan Miraz picked up three wickets while Mustafizur, Subashis Roy and Shakib Al Hasan took two wickets each. Taijul Islam took one wicket.
