Tigers need 247 to win ODI series against Zimbabwe

Sports Correspondent, From Chattogram: Bangladesh need 247 runs to win three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe as the visitors managed to score 246 runs in the second ODI at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Cricket Stadium in Chattogram on Wednesday.

Zimbabwe, thanks to 75 runs of Brendan Taylor, set the target of 247 runs losing 7 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Wicket-keeper batsman Brendan Taylor smashed a brilliant score of 75 runs off 73 balls which includes 9 fours and a six.

Sikandar Raza missed fifty just for a run. He scored 49 runs from 61 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Sean Williams bagged 47 runs off 76 balls with two fours while opener Cephas Zhuwao 20 runs fro 27 balls with a four and a six.

Another opener and skipper Hamilton Masakadza managed to score 14 runs from 18 balls with 2 fours while Peter Moor bagged 17 runs off 20 balls with 2 fours.

For Bangladesh, Mohammad Saifuddin smashed 3 wickets while Mashrafe, Mustafizur Rahman, Mehidy Hasan and Mahmudullah shared a wicket.
