Tk 15 crore demanded for Rohingya camp

KMA Hasnat: Local Government Division has sought additional Tk 15 crore to ensure different humanitarian privileges like safe water and sewerage system for Rohingya people fled to Bangladesh from Myanmgar.
The letter was sent to the Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith by finance secretary.
The letter read that due to severe degradation of drinking water and sanitation system, there have been created human disastrous situation at Ukhia and Teknaf camps where Rohingyas, forced to flee Myanmar, took shelters.
To prevent the disaster, additional Tk 15 crore is needed urgently, the letter revealed.
