Tk 1,580cr income tax received in five days

Economic Correspondent: The government received Tk 1 thousand 580 crore 9 lakh 42 thousand and 527 income tax till Saturday (fifth day) of the week-long nationwide tax fair where tax-GDP ratio is 5.76 percent.

In 2017, Tk 1 thousand 473 crore 24 lakh 18 thousand and 32 was collected during the same period.

11,48,572 people received services, 3,42,833 people submitted returns and 24,903 people received new e-TIN in the first five days.

On the fifth day, 290 crore 52 lakh 93 thousand and 708 has been collected with an upsurge of Tk 18 crore 65 lakh 81 thousand and 16 compared to the last year.
