Staff Correspondent: Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said that International Organization for Migration (IOM) has allotted Tk 200 crore for Rohingya people fled to Bangladesh from Myanmar.
The Minister told this to reporters after exchanging views with a delegation led by IOM Director General William Lacy at a hotel in the capital on Wednesday.
Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Secretary Md Shah Kamal was present in the meeting.
The Minister informed IOM delegation over all the measures taken by the government for Rohingya people.
The Minister said the Rohingyas were kept making 20 blocs on 3 thousand acres land. More than a lakh sheds were made for them. All patients including pregnant women are being given treatment.
