Tk20-cr allocation for football

Staff Correspondent: A special allocation of Tk 20 crore to Bangladesh Football Federation has been proposed for boosting the country’s football sector.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal made the disclosure while presenting at national parliament on Thursday afternoon.

In the budget speech, Finance Minister said, “The government is playing role in the development of nationwide infrastructures for sports and culture to organize different types of competitions and events at national and district and upazila levels. Long-term training is being provided after finding talented players of various types of games.”
