Train kills engineer in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: An engineer was killed as a train hit him in Jaydebpur railway station area in Gazipur on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Momin Uddin, 32, son of Md. Jahangir Hossain, hailed from Noagao area under Sripur upazila of Gazipur. He worked in an organization named The Structural Engineering Limited.

Joydebpur railway station master Md Shahjahan Mia said that the accident occurred around 7:00am. The man, suffered head injuries. Later, locals rushed him to hospital in a critical condition but he succumbed to his injuries there.
