'Travel-hajj agencies responsible for mismanagement'

Senior Correspondent: Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon said travel and hajj agencies are responsible for the mismanagement. For this, their licenses will be suspended along with fine.

The Minister came up with the statement at a press conference at Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday.

Menon said the agencies did not rent houses on time. They also did not complete visa processing that caused the problem.

"Trave agencies did not issue tickets for flights. Hajj pilgrims suffered a lot for the mismanagement. So, the government has decided to take stern actions," the minister added.
