Trawler capsized in Buriganga, 1 missing

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: A person went missing after a trawler carrying 11 people capsized in Buriganga river at Fatulla in Dhaka on Friday morning.

Divers of fire service are conducting operation to find missing Dudu Mia, 55, a resident of North Narsingpur area of Narayanganj.

Witnesses said that the trawler carrying 11 people capsized when it hit a launch in the river around 6:00am. Meanwhile, all passengers managed to swim to the shore except Dudu Mia.

Confirming the matter, Narayanganj fire station DAD Mamun said that the search operation is underway.
