Truck- microbus collision kills 9 in Tangail

Staff Correspondent: At least nine people were killed and seven other swere injured in a head-on collision between a truck and microbus in the district on Thursday noon.
The accident took place around 3.15pm in Basail Link Road area of Dhaka-Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway.
In-Charge of Highway Madhupur Police Outpost Jahangir Alam said a Dhaka-bound microbus collided head-on with a Bangabandhu Bridge-bound truck, leaving the casualties.
The injured have been admitted to Tangail General Hospital.
