Two businessmen killed in Sitakunda road crash

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Two vegetable traders were killed and two more injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Shitalpur area of Sitakunda upazila of the district on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Abdur Rab, 52, son of late Izzat Ali, Siddikur Rahman, 45, son of Abdul Halim.

Police and Fire Service sources said that a speedy truck hit the vegetable laden truck in the area this morning, leaving the two dead on the spot. 

Later, on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.

Baro Aulia Highway Police Station OC Ahsan Habib confirmed the matter.
