Two crushed under train in city

Staff Correspondent: Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Khilkhet and Banani areas of the city on Sunday.

Of the deceased one was identified as Milna Aktar, 35 and another one remained unidentified instantly.

Dhaka GRP police station OC Yasin Faruk Mazumdar said that a Netrokona-bound knocked the victim Milna Aktar in Khilkhet area around 9:00am, leaving her critically injured.

Later, the injured was rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital where duty doctor declared her dead.

Besides, an unidentified man was crushed under wheels of a train in Banani rail crossing area around 9:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.

The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autorpsy.
