Two hurt in Tongi factory fire

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: At least two workers of a mosquito coil factory were injured when a fire broke out in Khapara area of Tongi in Gazipur on Tuesday morning.
The injured workers are- Din Islam, 25, son of Shahjahan Mondol and Jahirul Islam, 24, son of Jabed Ali.
The victims said that the fire broke out around 3:30am from a mosquito coil after they slept taking meal. At one stage, hearing hue and crying, locals rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
Later, the injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
DMCH police outpost Sub-Inspector Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
