Two killed in Jessore garage fire

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: At least two people were killed and two others injured in a fire that broke out at a garage in Bahadurpur area of Jessore town on Monday night.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Witnesses said that the fire originated on Monday night following a blast of an electric transformer when denting was going on at the garage near Rajonigandha Filling Station. At one stage, the fire spread to the adjacent area.
On information, eight fire units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.
Later, the fire fighters recovered charred bodies of two people from the spot.
Jessore Fire Service Station Assistant Director Parimal Chandra Kundu confirmed the matter to media.
