Staff Correspondent: The US Embassy in Dhaka, including its consular section, has remained closed today (Oct 8) on the occasion of Columbus Day, an American holiday.
The American Center Library and EducationUSA Student Advising Center have also remained closed today.
However, emergency services for American citizens will be available.
