Ultimatum till 3pm to release detainees

Staff Correspondent: Students and job seekers, who have been demonstrating demanding reformation of existing quota system in government recruitment, have given an ultimatum till 3.00pm on Monday to the government to release their friends.

Coordinator of Bangladesh Shadharan Chhatra Odhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad (Bangladesh General Students’ Right Protection Council) Rashed Khan gave the ultimatum at a press conference on Monday.

He said that the movement would be strengthened if the general students are not released quickly.
 

According to sources, 25 students were detained from the spot.
