Staff Correspondent: The unusual cold biting is hampering normal life in the country’s most of the places for the last couple of days as the temperature has declined.
Local Met office recorded the lowest temperature of 5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Panchagarh on Saturday making the business of warm clothes more vibrant.
Meanwhile, Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and rest parts of Rangpur divisions and the region of Madaripur, Tangail, Sitakunda, Rangamati, Srimangal and Kushtia and it may continue and spread.
Life of the people living in the slums and chars on the Ganges basin has become worst as they experience more cold biting than that of the mainland.
