VAT cut for 3 internet services

Economic Correspondent: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has reduced value-added tax (VAT) for three internet services to ensure undisrupted internet service for all.
The services are: International Terrestrial Cable (ITC), International Internet Gateway (IIG) and Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN).
According to NBR sources, it waived VAT in excess of 5 percent on the ITC, IIG and NTTN. A notification issued in this regard on January 15.
