VAT fair inaugurated

Economic Reporter: The VAT Registration Fair has begun for the first time in the country in a bid to increase public awareness about online VAT registration.
Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Md. Najibur Rahman officially inaugurated the fair in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.
The fair will be held at the four Customs, Excise and VAT Commissionerates (East, West, North, South) till May 23 and Rangpur VAT Commissionerate till May 18.
From 18 May to 20 May, the fair will be held in Rajshahi, Jessore and Khulna and from May 21 to May 23 in Chittagong, Comilla and Sylhet.
