Varsity students among 2 killed in road crashes

Staff Correspondent: At least two people including a university student were killed in separate road accidents in Bangshal and Narda areas of the capital.

The deceased were identified as Shakil Ahmed Turjo, 22, a student of Computer Science and Engineering Department of North South University and Abdur Rahman.

Bangshal police station sources said that a truck rammed Abdur Rahman in Alubazar intersection area this morning, leaving him critically injured. Later, he succumbed to his injuries at hospital.

On the other hand, Gulshan police station said that university student Turjo died when his private car crashed in Narda area on Tuesday night.
