Verdict in 2 Kishoreganj Razakars' case any day

Staff Correspondent: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its verdict any day on the trial of two war crimes suspects from Kishoreganj.
The three-member panel of International Crimes Tribunal led by Justice Anwarul Haque kept the case waiting for verdict after the prosecution and defence counsel completed their closing arguments on Tuesday.
Defence counsel Abdus Sattar Palwan moved for the accused while Prosecutor Tureen Afroz stood for the state.
Earlier, on May 9, the tribunal started its procedure forming charge against the two Razakar.
On July 7, 2016, defunct ICT-2 issued arrest warrant against the duo. Later, police arrested Moslem from his home in village Kamarhati under Nikli upazila of Kishoreganj. But Hossain is absconding. Hossain is the younger brother of death-row-convict Syed Md Hassan alias Hachen Ali, who was sentenced to death in his absence by the ICT-1 for his heinous crimes against humanity in 1971.
