Vessel services on all routes resumes

Staff Correspondent: The inland water vessel services across the country resumed on Sunday after Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) suspended the operation due to bad weather.

BIWTA public relations officer Mobarak Hossain confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

The authority withdrew the suspension as the weather condition started to improve gradually.

Earlier, on Saturday, no.2 local cautionary signal was hoisted in all the river ports of the country, in wake of adverse weather accompanying heavy wind and downpour countrywide.
