'Vested quarter trying to stop development'

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Political Adviser HT Imam has said that the government has done lot of development works for people but a vested quarter trying to stop that.

HT Imam made the opinion while addressing a programme organized by DORP at conference room of Bishwa Sahitya Kendra in the capital on Saturday.

He said the vested quarters should be identified and brought under trial, otherwise development tasks will be barrier again and again.

Meanwhile, he also urged all to work together against militancy, terrorists and drugs.

Development Organisation of the Rural Poor-DORP founder AHM Noman presided over the programme where Meherpur-1 MP Farhad Hossain, Bangladesh Army Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) deputy chief coordinator Brig Gen Md Abdul Mukim Sarkar and others attended.
