Voting in Gaibandha-3 polls underway

Staff Correspondent: Voting in the by-election to Gaibandha-3 (Sadullapur-Palashbari) constituency is underway on Sunday.
The balloting has started at 8:00am and will continue till 4:00pm.
A total of 5 candidates are contesting the 11th parliamentary election to the constituency.
District polls officer Mahbubur Rahman said that the voter number of the seat is 4,11,854. Of them 2,00,746 are male and 2,11,108 are female. The voters will cast their votes through 132 voting centres located in 20 unions.
Elections in the constituency was postponed following the death of Oikyafront nominated candidate Dr TIM Fazle Rabbi Chowdhury on December 19.
