Walton Plaza opened at BCS Computer City

Desk Report: Walton Plaza started its journey at BCS Computer City in IDB Bhababan of city's Agargaon area to present high standard world class technological products including laptops to customers.

The country's leading electrical, electronics and home appliances brand Walton made laptops, desktop monitors, mouse, key-boards, printers along with other ICT products are being showcased and sold here.

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) President and inventor of Bijoy Bangla font Mustafa Jabbar and Walton brand ambassador film actor Ilias Kanchan on Wednesday formally inaugurated the Plaza.

Walton Group Executive Director and Chief-Coordinator of its Marketing Department Eva Rezwana, Executive Directors S. M. Zahid Hasan (Policy, HRM & Admin), Amdadul Hoque Sarker (Marketing), Md. Humayun Kabir (PR & Media), Toffazzal Hossain DIG (Legal Affairs) were among other top officials present on the occasion.

Mustafa Jabbar, Chief Guest of the function, thanked Walton Group for their wonderful contribution in expanding technological industry in the country.

"While visiting Walton factory, I found that they are manufacturing numerous high standard technological products including motherboards of television. They will soon start manufacturing computer motherboards. I am very much thrilled thinking that computers and laptops made with Walton motherboards will be exported in various countries," he said.

He hoped that Walton will manufacture all kinds of digital devices in the country very soon.

Speaking on the occasion, Walton brand ambassador film actor Ilias Kanchan called on all Bangladesh nationals to use the products of Walton to make the country economically independent.

Plaza authorities said, a total of 22 models of laptop under four series like WaxJambu, Karonda, Tamarind and Passion are being sold. Customers who will buy any models of laptops from the Plaza will get various gifts including Smartphones and LED televisions. The offer will be valid throughout the while month.
