Augustin Sujon: Local brand Walton has released its new smartphone ‘Primo GM2+’ in the tech market. It is an upgraded model of ‘Primo GM2’ which was released in the market on last Eid-ul-Fitr. The new model features improved RAM, storage and camera that will increase its performance.
The most attractive feature of Primo GM2+ is its powerful battery. The phone is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery that will provide users long time power backup while the Integrated Battery Saver feature will save charge and retain the health of the battery.
Ariful Hoque Raihan, Deputy Director of Walton Cellular Phone Research and Development Department, said, the new smartphone features a 5-inch On-Cell HD IPS display with the resolution of 1280X720. Priced at 8,350 BDT, the attractively designed phone is available in three different colours – coffee, black and golden.
Armed with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the new smartphone is powered by a 2 GB RAM while Mali-400 has been used as graphics to provide users exciting gaming experience.
The internal storage of the phone is 16 GB which can be extended up to 64 GB via microSD card.
The Primo GM2+ offers a BSI 13 Mega Pixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash which is capable of capturing full HD (1920X1080) video. BSI 5 MP front camera with LED flash will ensure quality selfies and more vivid video calls.
Runs on Android Nougat 7.0, the new phone supports 3G network in dual SIM slots. Multi-Window and Mira Vision Display Technology are some special features of the phone.
