War crimes: Final probe report against 11 released

Staff Correspondent: The Investigation Agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has published the final probe report against 11 people of Khulna including Sheikh Abdur Rahim (68) of Dumuria Thana over their crimes against humanity during the liberation war in 1971.

They were accused in six allegations including rape, murder, arson and looting, according to the report released.

Abdul Hannan Khan, coordinator of the ICT Investigation Agency, published the report at its office in the capital's Dhanmondi on Tuesday.

The 10 accused are Shamsur Rahman (82), Omar Ali Fakir (70), Jahan Ali Biswas (67), Md Akkas Sardar (68), Nazer Ali Fakir (65), Md Shahjahan Sardar (75), Abdul Karim Sheikh (65), Abu Bakkar Sardar (67), Md Raushan Gazi (72) and Md Sohrab Hossain Sardar (62).
