War crimes: Verdict of 4 Noakhali men any day

Staff Correspondent: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its verdict any day on the trial of four war crimes accused including Amir Ahmed.
A three-member ICT headed by Justice Md. Shahinur Islam kept the judgment waiting (CAV- Curia advisari vult) after final hearing on Tuesday.
The three other accused are Abul Kalam, Joynul Abedin and Abdul Kuddus. Of them, Abul Kalam has been on the run.
The accused were allegedly involvement in crimes against humanity conducted during the 1971 Liberation War in Sudharampur upazila of Noakhali district.
