'War crimes enquiry against Moosa underway'

Staff Correspondent: The investigation agency of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) is carrying out a preliminary investigation against controversial businessman Moosa Bin Shamser whether he was involved in crimes against humanity in 1971.

Sanaul Huq, co-coordinator of the investigation agency of International Crimes Tribunal, said this while replying to a query of journalists at a press conference held at the agency's Dhanmondi office in the capital on Wednesday.

Sanaul Huq said, "We will file a case against Moosa if we find evidence during the investigation."

The press conference was organised to disclose the probe report against nine men from Mymensingh and Jamalpur over their alleged involvement in crimes during the Liberation War in 1971.
