We've no failure in 5 years: CEC

Staff Correspondent, Comilla: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad said, "Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) witnessed a free, fair and peaceful election because of  the cordial assistance of candidates, political parties and voters. We have no failure in last five years. We arranged every election in fair manner."

The CEC said this as a chief guest at a programme in Comilla on Friday afternoon.

"We have started to collect fingerprints and eye cells through smart cards and are preserving in a advanced database. It will help to find out the person who will be listed twice in voter list," he added.
