Winner to get Tk 1cr on Victory Day!

Desk Report: The final round of Bangladesh Jiggahsa, a quiz competition, will be aired on December 16, 2018 at 10:00pm on Independent Television, according to a press release.

The four finalists-Pritish, Shahim Ahmed, Benzir Ahmed and Mohsin Ahmed —will contest to be the champion of the coveted quiz competition on the Victory Day, the press release said.

Audiences are enthusiastically waiting for the show sponsored by the IFIC bank. The quiz is about the achievement and failure of Bangladesh in the last 47 years. The four are in the final after contesting with 80,000 competitors. Pitish from Barishal has been passing through hard life with extreme poverty.

Bangladesh Jiggahsa is a great platform for Shamim Ahmed from Narsingdi to turn his dream into reality. Benzir Ahmed from Jhenaidah is longing for working for the betterment of the society. He has already established a library in his village. His mother is his inspiration. He sustained burn injuries in his childhood.

Mohsin Ahmed from Pirojpur wants to bring changes in the society through imparting quality education. His goal is to spread the light of education among the street children and women across the country.

Khaled Muhiuddin, popular anchor of Ajker Bangladesh talk show of the Independent TV, will moderate the event.

In the first phase, as many as 64 were selected among 80,000 participants after a written exam held in divisional cities earlier. Then, the programme started on October 12. The semifinal rounds where eight people took part were aired on December 7 and December 8.

The winner of the competition will get Tk 1 crore, the first runner-up Tk25 lakh, the second runner-up Tk15 lakh and the third runner-up Tk5 lakh.
