Woman found dead at Fakirapul hotel

Staff Correspondent: Police has recovered the body of an unidentified woman from the hotel room of Fakirapul in the capital's Motijheel Police Station area.

At that time a 10-month old child was rescued from the room.

The body was recovered from Fakirapul’s Hotel Al Shahin on Sunday midnight.

According to Motijheel Thana Police said that two people along with a child identifying themselves as husband and wife on Sunday night rent a room. At that time the hotel authorities did not record their identities. At night the alleged husband killed the woman and escaped from the hotel.

Motijheel Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Omar Faruque said the investigation is going on. The hotel authorities are being questioned about why their names are not properly recorded. The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy.
