Women's World T20 Qualifier: Bangladesh to face UAE tonight

Sports Desk: Bangladesh women will fight against United Arab Emirates(UAE) in their group A last encounter scheduled to be held tonight (Tuesday) at Utrecht in Netherlands.

The match will be held at 8:00pm (Bangladesh Time) on Tuesday.

The Tigresses are on verge of qualification in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as they have already beat Papua New Guinea by eight wickets in their group opening match and then sealed another comfortable victory against the Netherlands beating them by 7 wickets in their second group match.

Winning two matches Bangladesh is in top position with 4 points and 2.585 net run rate.



The top two teams from the eight-nation Qualifiers event will join Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and hosts West Indies in the tournament, scheduled to be staged from November 9-25 in the Caribbean.

Earlier, Bangladesh women failed to cross T20 world cup qualifier in 2014, 2016.
