World's 7th largest data centre in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said the under construction Bangabandhu High-Tech City at Kaliakoir of Gazipur would be the world's seventh largest data centre.

The minister told this to the reporters after an exchange view meeting at the conference room of Bangabandhu High-Tech City at the district's Kaliakoir on Monday night.

He said, "Apart from government data, we will be able to reserve a huge amount of private sector's information here."
