World's safest car for Trump

International Desk: US President Donald Trump is set to receive a brand new “Beast” worth £1.2million that can withstand a roadside bomb, it has been revealed.

The new Presidential Cadillac One car will replace the old 2009 model and was supposed to have been used for Trump’s historic inaugural ceremony.

But General Motors has reportedly confirmed it will be deployed later this month.

Arguably the safest vehicle in the world, the costly car features a life-support machine and a supply of the President’s blood type in the case of an attack.

The front windscreen can withstand armour piercing bullets or a .44 magnum whilst the bodywork is military grade and five inches thick.

Among other features, the car has shotguns on board in case an attack breaks out with Kevlar tyres that can run even if they are flat.

Each door weighs the equivalent of a Boeing 757 plane door, leaving the President reliant on security help as he is unable to open them from the inside.

The Sedan is now longer than two large SUV’s and remains in white and black camouflage, designed to make it more difficult to identify features on the vehicle.

Once it is deployed on the streets, the car will be painted in its traditional colour of black and silver.

A number of guns are hidden in the front grille of the vehicle, which can be used to fire an attacker.

The Beast also has night vision cameras on board and a reinforced undercarriage which can withstand running over a roadside bomb.

A Cadillac spokesman told FOX Business news that it was an “honour” to design and build the Presidential Limousine, continuing a great American tradition”.

According to Australian news, the new vehicles will be delivered to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue around March 30, but will only drive the President for short trips.

Trump will be escorted in the Presidential chopper, Marine One for journeys longer than 30 minutes, the newssite reported.
