Writ seeks investigation on Tk4cr allowance scam

Staff Correspondent: A writ petition has been filed with the High Court seeking its directive to start investigation over the misuse of Tk four crore allowance of 6,456 freedom figheters in Barishal.
Lawyer Amit Das Gupta filed the petition with the relevant branch of the HC Sunday morning.
The hearing on the writ is likely to be held at the HC bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader.
Secretary of Liberation War Affairs Ministry, Barishal deputy commissioner, Chief Official of Information Commission were made defendants in the write petition.
