Youth held for disgracing photos of Bangabandhu, PM

Laxmipur Correspondent: Police held a youth for uploading post on Facebook to disgrace images of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from Balurchar area of the district's Ramgati upazila on Tuesday night.
The detainee was identified as Md Sumon, 25, son of Abdul Matlob of Alexander Balurchar of the upazila. He has a business of mobile recharging at local Bazar.
Md Iqbal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramgati Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said Sumon was held for allegedly disgracing the photos of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He deleted the photos from Facebook after people came to know over the post. Legal steps will be taken after investigation," he added.
However, police found no political connection of the youth, the OC said.
