Zayan’s body will arrive in country tomorrow

Senior Reporter:  The body of Zayan will arrive in Dhaka tomorrow (Wednesday).

Zayan, 8, was the minor grandson of Awami League leader Sheikh Selim and among 290 people killed on Easter Sunday’s multiple blasts in Sri Lanka.

Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud confirmed this on Monday night.
Zayan will be buried at Banani graveyard after Asar prayer tomorrow. His namaj-e-janaza will be held at Banani Club ground.

Earlier, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said the body of Zayan, 8, will arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday.
 
Moshiul Haque Chowdhary Prince, son-in-law of Sheikh Selim, also was among hundreds of injured in the series of blasts at churches and hotels in and just outside Sri Lanka's capital.

Moshiul Haque Chowdhary Prince and Sheikh Amina Sultana Sonia, daughter of Sheikh Selim, along with their two sons were at a five-star hotel.

The son-in-law and Zayan Chowdhary went to ground of the hotel to take breakfast when a bomb exploded there.

The family went to Sri Lanka on a holiday tour.
