Passenger bus catches fire in city

A fire broke out in a passenger bus in the capital’s Banglamotor area on Monday (December 19) night.

Being informed, members of Fire Service and law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot immediately and cordoned off the spot.

Ershad Hossain, duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters, told risingbd that a fire broke out in a passenger bus at 9:20 pm on Monday (December 19). Being informed, three units of Fire Service rushed to the spot. They were trying to douse the blaze until the report was filed.

Meanwhile, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Police and some intelligent agencies of the government rushed to the spot and collected the evidence. Alongside, they were checking whether there was any incident of casualties.
