‘10-lane flyover to be built’

Senior Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader announced that country’s first 10-lane flyover will be built in Gazipur.
The minister made the announcement while visiting Gazipur road on Tuesday.
The 10-lane flyover will be constructed with the 20-kilometer long Gazipur to Shahjalal International Airport road.
He said, the construction of 20 kilometer long Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) will be ended in 2021.
Basically, in 2012, BRT line project was started to bring pace in public transports. Only 20 percent construction work has been done of the project.
